Celentano’s is set in a eight-bedroom boutique hotel, Cathedral House, which was built in 1877 as a hostel for women released from Duke Street Prison, many of whom were Suffragettes and political activists.
Between Glasgow’s centre and the East End, near Dennistoun (which was named ‘eighth coolest neighbourhood in the world’ by Time Out in 2020), the historical building overlooks the Necropolis and Glasgow Cathedral.
